April is the beginning of the dry season. The weather is mild at this time, the temperatures are slightly lower than in June or July. The hurricane season hasn’t started yet and these months usually are the most pleasant for visiting Hawaii. The prices are still quite low so it’s possible to travel on a budget. The only time when there might be crowds is Easter.

June and July can be really hot and humid sometimes. June is the driest and July is usually the hottest month of the year. And since there’s almost no rainfall the only relief is brought by the winds. It’s also the high tourist season so expect crowd and prices higher than during the rest of the year. Although rainfall is very rare in summer there’s a higher possibility of tropical hurricanes.

It’s still hot in Hawaii in August and September with long sunny days and clear skies with occasional clouds. The weather is very summer-like. Hurricanes are still possible although they are rare. the second half of August is quite a pleasant time to visit Hawaii since there are fewer crowds, lower prices, almost no rain showers and the ocean is really warm. It’s arguably one of the best times to relax on the beach and enjoy the Hawaiian sun.
