2025 Lineup
The Glasgow Film Festival 2025 (GFF25) unveils an exciting lineup featuring Josef HHader'stragicomedy Andrea Gets a Divorce, Ulrike KKofler'spoignant Gina, and Christoph SSchwarz'ssatirical Piggy Bank. Fans of Michael Haneke can revisit classics like The Piano Teacher and Hidden. Special event screenings, including MMuriel'sWedding and The Craft, will take place at unique venues like Cottiers and the Grand Ole Opry. Nationwide previews will follow the UK premiere of Laura CCarreira'sOn Falling, while GFF After Hours offers lively post-cinema entertainment. GFT will also launch a new season celebrating the Coen Brothers, beginning with O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
Awards & Prizes
The festival's main and only prize is the Audience Award, sponsored by MUBI. Another notable section is FrightFest, featuring a selection of horror films curated by the London-based horror film festival. From just 6,000 attendees at its inaugural event, GFF saw over 43,000 attendees in 2020, marking the most successful event in the festival's history.
