This is a great chance to see well-known Cambodian cohesion and patriotism in action. On this day, thousands of Cambodians are carrying national flags and the portraits of the king while many government buildings are covered in lights and pictures. Tourists may expect quite a spectacular event with national dances and amazing fireworks display after sunset in front of the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh.
