Upstream Music Fest + Summit 2018 in Seattle
A major event in the historical heart of Seattle, with a perfect mix of acclaimed international artists alongside rising stars
Dates: June 1–3, 2018 (over)
The Upstream Music Fest is one of the largest events in Seattle. It features more than 200 live acts over three days. Concerts run on two main stages in the Pioneer Square neighbourhood in downtown Seattle and 15 other venues in the same area. Previous line-ups include big names like Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Consequence of Sound, Flaming Lips, Zola Jesus and Valerie June. At this event, acclaimed international artists perform alongside rising stars from the Pacifc Northwest.
No less interesting is the Upstream Summit held by Amazon Web Services, a one-day conference dedicated to the latest trends and issues in the music industry. The festival also offers a variety of food, libations and activities in the heart of Seattle. This is a kind of event where you could bump into your favourite local musician grabbing a drink hours after he performed on stage. Upstream offers a unique and personal experience, unlike many other mass events.
