Maverick Festival 2024 in England
UK's major Americana event in the Suffolk countryside
Dates: July 5-7, 2024
The Maverick Festival is a country and roots music event that lasts for three days in July in Woodbridge, Suffolk. The English countryside is a perfect setting to listen to dozens of bands from both sides of the Atlantic singing and playing country music. Live acts are performed on four stages, both indoors and outdoors. If you are into country music, this is a very atmospheric event to enjoy.
Over 50 artists and bands play at the festival. Previous lineups included Hank Wangford, Kehau Kahananui, Bonnie Bishop, Johnny Case, Arkansas Dave, The Most Ugly Child, Cordovas, Jonathan Byrd, The Danberrys, Leeroy Stagger, The Local Honeys, Hillfolk Noir, The Weeping Willows, Lachlan Bryan, Imogen Clarke, and Terra Lightfoot.
Maverick Festival is the longest-running event if its kind in the UK. Launched in 2008, the restored Victorian barns and other premises of Easton Farm Park in Woodbridge make for a perfect backdrop for concerts, films, workshops, and performances. The weekend festival is within a two-hour ride from London and begins on Friday at 5 p.m. and runs until 2.30 p.m. on Sunday. Festival's Ranger ticket includes camping on two nights of the festival. You can camp in a tipi or bell tents provided by the organizers, or in your own tents or camper vans. Staying on site is the best way to experience the festival.
