Autumn is a great time to visit Georgia since it’s generally warm and sunny. September and October are high season because it’s less hot than in summer and the sea temperature is still pleasantly warm. In addition, the seaside is quite dry even in autumn while the eastern part of the country experiences its wettest time. September is still good for hiking in the mountains. In fact, it’s even better due to the wonderful warm hues of nature. Although in some places you’ll probably have to dress in layers because it might be a little chilly, and also bring waterproof or quick-dry clothes. Early autumn is also the time for wine harvest festivities in Georgia.
