Winter in Georgia 2024-2025

The winters in the south-west are mild and pleasant with temperatures usually above zero although the nights might be a little chillier so pack some winter clothes. The conditions in the mountains might be more rough with lower temperatures and heavy snowfall. But both the coastal area and the mountains experience a lot of sunshine even during this season. January is usually the coldest month of the year. Winter sports are very popular in the Georgian mountains with their wonderful ski resorts.
