Autumn is Finland is the wettest season. The months of September through November experience the most rain.
Temperatures get lower very quickly; at night it is normal to drop below zero. Days become shorter and nights darker.
Though you can still enjoy the amazing colours of this season. Forests and parks are covered with warm red, orange, and gold, known here as 'ruska'. In most of the territory fall comes on the last week of September, and in Lapland on the last week of August.
