The high season in Tanzania runs from June through September—this is when there are ideal conditions for vacations and safaris. The weather is cool and dry with sunny, cloudless days. You can enjoy pleasant walks with spectacular views. Seeing animals also becomes easier as they mostly gather at water reservoirs and their location is more predictable.
This is also the time to spot the magnificent annual wildebeest migration. However, this is also the time to expect high prices and crowds. Northern circuit parks get crowded during the high season, while southern and western ones are less crowded all year round.
