People from 12 villages gather for the festival to celebrate the foundation of Hanoi citadel. The celebration includes religious masses and lots of traditional games and activities, such as throwing a sacred ball through the ring, quan ho singing, wrestling, rice cooking competition and many many more!
The festivities traditionally take place on the 6-16 days of the first lunar month.
