This grand event brings together the greatest actors and actresses to receive awards, share their experiences, and merely have fun while posing on the red carpet in front of their fans and photographers.
BFI Film Festival is the top event in British cinema and one of the largest events of its kind in the world showcasing the greatest achievements of the film industry. It draws the attention of both local and international figures of the film industry. Held annually over 12 days in October the festival presents over 200 significant films from nearly 60 different countries.
The screenings take place at different venues all around the city (Ciné Lumière, Curzon Chelsea, Haymarket Cinema etc.) but the main festival events usually take place at BFI Southbank.
