The best time to visit this year-round market is Christmas, when the area boasts lots of hanging lights, festive decorations, and special attractions for the whole family. The Christmas market in Camden Town, which dresses up for the holidays from early November through December, features a popular ice rink, kids' attractions, Santa’s Grotto, snow flurries, and, surely, there's plenty of music and delicious holiday treats.
Lots of Christmas cheer awaits visitors at North Yard, beautifully illuminated with warm lights, and at the ice rink, the largest in North London. Christmas Grotto is the place where the little ones can meet Santa and his elves. And of course, the whole market smells of cinnamon, gingerbread, and mulled wine.
Camden Christmas Market is open from 10 am to 6 pm every day, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The market, however, is closed on Christmas Day.
