The Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is an annual outdoor Christmas market and craft fair held in central Birmingham. It’s a winter extravaganza that turns Birmingham into a colorful wonderland. Since 2001, the market has been a great place to meet up with friends and family while enjoying the warm Christmas vibes.
This winter wonderland consists of many open-air stalls with foods and goods and offers a wide range of crafts, toys, jewelry, and knick-knacks. Most of them are made in Frankfurt, yet you can also find many arts and crafts made by Birmingham artists. These stalls on Victoria Square and along New Street offer something unique for everyone. In the afternoon/evening, the market turns into a huge street party with delicious food, drinks, and live music. Pretzels, bratwursts, schnitzels, and roasted almonds have all the chances to tempt you, while wheat beer, gluhwein, and tasty hot chocolate can become the cherry on top.
The Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is open daily from November 2 to December 24 from 10 am to 9 pm. On Remembrance Sunday, it is open from 1 pm to 9 pm.
