Birmingham Christmas Market 2024 in United Kingdom

The Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is an annual outdoor Christmas market and craft fair held on Victoria Square and New Street in central Birmingham. The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria turns Birmingham into a colorful wonderland. Since 2001, the winter extravaganza has been a great occasion to meet up with friends and family while enjoying the warm Christmas vibes.

Market Attractions

This winter wonderland consists of many open-air stalls with foods and goods and offers a wide range of crafts, toys, jewelry, and knick-knacks. Most of them are made in Frankfurt, yet you can also find many arts and crafts made by Birmingham artists. These stalls on Victoria Square and along New Street offer something unique for everyone. In the afternoon and evening, the market turns into a huge street party with delicious food, drinks, and live music. Pretzels, bratwursts, schnitzels, and roasted almonds have all the chances to tempt you, while wheat beer, gluhwein, and tasty hot chocolate can become the cherry on top.

Entertainment

The entertainment stage is located in the heart of Victoria Square. Attendees can enjoy authentic music from Germany and holiday tunes. Live music at lunchtime and evening music sessions are available Monday to Friday. Live performances run all day on Saturday and Sunday.

The Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is open daily from November 1 to December 24, from 10 am to 9 pm Monday – Thursday, from 11 am to 9.30 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 9.30 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 9 pm on Sunday.
