The New York International Fringe Festival is the largest multi-art festival in North America. It features musicals, mash-ups, solo shows, comedies, tragedies, parodies, performance art, puppetry, and tons more. Even in a theater-saturated city like New York the Fringe Festival stands out because of its energy and spontaneity.
Annually the festival presents the work of more than 200 theater troupes and dance companies from all over the world. Since its inception, it has already shown the performances of more than 3,000 alternative artists representing different countries and showcases a lot of young talent. Among the alumni of FringeNYC are lots of successful theater and screen actors and performing groups.
