Michigan Lavender- Festival 2024
A summer festival that combines a relaxing retreat and participating in interesting workshops
Dates: June 28–30, 2024
The calm of a warm summer day, surrounded by the gentle scent of lavender, sounds lovely, doesn't it? Add enchanting music, workshops, and the chance to participate in grand activities. At the Michigan Lavender Festival 2024, you'll get it all.
The festival has been going on for over 20 years, and it's not just picking lavender and amazing photos in the purple fields. (So, of course, bring your camera!). You'll get a chance to learn about the various benefits of lavender in cooking, and growing, as well as its medicinal and aromatic uses. All events and activities throughout the festival weekend (June 28–30, 2024) are included in the price of one ticket.
Throughout its history, this event has moved from its founder's backyard to two other locations to accommodate guests better. The final location in Imlay City, Michigan, is well established, so you can enjoy even more lavender and plenty of parking lots. And, of course, you won't leave without delicious food. The festival will take place at two locations this year: Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds and Indigo Lavender Farms.
Other benefits and activities of the lavender festival
The festival invites top farms, growers, producers, artists, and makers to engage guests in the "lavender symphony." There are displays of handmade products, a variety of lavender classes, artist workshops, and demonstrations that provide hands-on learning opportunities.
You can support local artisans and vendors showcasing their handmade crafts, artwork, and products, contributing to the region's cultural vibrancy. Parents can find an outdoor kid zone on the premises. This allows them not to be afraid about the safety and enjoyment of their children.
The event usually lasts three days at the end of June during lavender's blooming season. Guests can enjoy the flowers at their peak during the most fragrant and relaxing event of the season!
