Lavender Days 2023 in Utah
A great occasion to enjoy fragrant purple fields along with other entertainments that include rodeo, a scenic run, and a plenty of farm activities
Dates: late June 2023 (on hold)
The landscapes of Utah are so diverse, with a lot of surprising contrasts. Beautiful serene fields of lavender create a huge contrast with the mainly rugged area of central Utah. The Young Living Lavender Farm in Mona is considered to be the largest herb farm in the world. These huge fragrant lavender fields are set on the area of 5.7 sq km with a gorgeous mountainous backdrop. Although the farm is open to visitors all year round, the best time to visit it is during Lavender Days Celebration held annually in early July. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of blooming lavender and have lots of fun while taking part in various festivities including Rodeo, Lavender Run, and a range of farm activities.
The Run Through the Lavender 5K race and 1K Family Fun Trot are probably the most popular. These activities attract crowds of spectators, fans, and family members of the race participants. They come to encourage the runners and just to have fun, and enjoy the beauty of serene fields. There is even a money prize and medals for the first three finishers.
