Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) is an annual music festival held in San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, CA. It features electronic dance music, as well as devotional, experimental, folk and other music genres. The festival also promotes sustainability, social cohesion, personal health, and creative expression. In addition to music, Lightning in a Bottle provides art installations to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.
Lightning in a Bottle started from a private birthday party in 2000-2003. In 2004 a private event evolved into Lightning in a Bottle Music and Art Festival. It showcases music, art, and culture, hosting guest speakers, art installations, yoga classes, meditations, and other activities. Camping on-site is possible. Lineups in the past years included Moby, Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals, Zhu, Griz, Fever Ray, The Glitch Mob, Sofi Tukker, Bassnectar, Bonobo, Rüfüs Du Sol, Kaytranada, Bob Moses, Jhené Aiko, Bomba Estéreo, Big Wild, Weval, NoMBe, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Nicola Cruz, Brasstracks, Wafia, Vallis Alps, Wildlight, Imaginary Herbal Flows, Chet Faker, Cashmere Cat, Lucent Dossier Experience, Grimes, Four Tet, PANTyRAiD, Tokimonsta, Big Gigantic, The Polish Ambassador, Guy Gerber, Lee Burridge, Mr. Carmack, Minnesota, G Jones, Mija, and more.
