GreyBeards Viking Experience is a unique event that includes the Mounted Archery Tournament and a festival with dozens of costumed characters. Held at various locations, the event is organized by GreyBeard Productions, partnering up with Heart of a Warrior. The two-day festivities with King GreyBeard feature ax-throwing, mounted archery, highland game demos, live music, a children's Viking corner, and fire dancers. The event culminates with an immersive Viking dinner experience.
GreyBeards Viking Experience offers live music, shopping, food, and drink as well as camping for Friday & Saturday nights. Camping in a tent is $50, and camping with an electric hook-up is $100. General admission is $10-$15 if purchased online. Children 12 and under get in for free. The festival runs from 10 am to 6 pm.
GreyBeard Productions is an entertainment group inspired by Viking history, culture, and way of life. It specializes in family-friendly events like axe throwing, kubb, Jamswikinger (fish), and Viking inspired feasts. Historically accurate Viking living history groups educate about Viking culture and provide a fun experience for all ages.
