The historical city of Fredericksburg knows how to celebrate American Independence. The program consists of an array of daytime and evening events, which will meet the needs of the most avid patriots.
Daytime celebration
The glorious day starts at 7:30 am with Fallen Heroes 5 Miler Downtown. Wear your best blue, red, and white and enjoy the run. For kids, the program has the Children's Roll N' Stroll Downtown at 9:30 am. Later on, the festivities proceed to Riverfront Park. From 10 am to 4 pm, the visitors can enjoy live music, an arts and crafts show, kid's activities, and various foods. Another gathering point is Ferry Farm, holding cultural activities for the whole family to have fun.
Evening program
The evening event schedule opens with a Fredericksburg Nationals baseball game at Virginia Credit Union Stadium at 4:30 pm and finishes with fireworks at around 9 pm. Additionally, at 6 pm, John Lee Pratt Memorial Park invites folks to some late-time chill, including DJ music, food trucks, and yard games. Lastly, Pratt Park boasts a splendid firework show starting at 9:30 pm. Besides from the venue itself, you can also observe the display from Old Mill Park and Expo Center parking area.
