Manchester City 4th of July Fireworks (July, 2024)

Dutch Fogarty Independence Day Celebration is an annual country-loving festivity with music, food, and fireworks in Manchester, located 46 miles (24 km) from New Haven. The celebration usually takes place on July 8 from 4 pm to 9:45 pm at Manchester Band Shell, 60 Bidwell St. The event is free for all, except for the Chicken BBQ tickets for $15, which include ½ chicken, coleslaw, roll, baked potato, watermelon, and beverage. The rich program of the celebration ends with a superb salute.

Bushnell Park Fireworks | Independence Day Celebration at Hartford Bonanza (July 6, 2024)

Hartford Bonanza is Hartford’s fourth Annual Independence Day tradition, featuring art, culture, Hartford-centric entertainment, food, and fireworks. Guests can enjoy local music all day at the final Bonanza Jam in Bushnell Park, the oldest publicly funded park in the USA. A pleasant and vivid day ends with fireworks at 9:30 pm. Bushnell Park in Hartford is 39 miles (63 km) from New Haven, so this little trip is worth it.
