Chattanooga is the fourth-largest city in Tennessee. It’s a wonderful destination for a much-needed vacation or weekend getaway. As for the 4th of July, Chattanooga knows how to paint the town red. It has plenty of events, fireworks, street food, festive drinks, and lots of fun.

Red, White, and Blueberries (Julу 30, 2024)

Red, White, and Blueberry-themed market is an annual market nestled at First Horizon Pavilion from 11 am to 4 pm. Featuring live music on the Lodge Cast Iron Stage and goodies from local artisans and craftsmen, this event is a go-to celebration in Chattanooga during Independence Day celebration.

Fun on the 4th! in Miller Park (July, 2024)

Chattanooga's official 4th of July celebration is held at the newly renovated Miller Park in downtown Chattanooga. This central city park offers an aesthetic leisure area, making for an excellent venue for special events like Fun on the 4th! You can count on free old-fashioned fun along with high-tech entertainment, carnival games, vintage vendors & cars, a 50ft gondola ferris wheel, art vendors, food trucks, cocktails, beer, and live music on the Miller Park Stage all day long. A spectacular laser light show grand finale begins at approximately 9:30 pm in Miller Park.

Star-Spangled Picnic (July, 2024)

How about a brand new way of celebrating Independence Day on the lawn of the Chattanooga Theatre Center? This outdoor party features BBQ by Sugar’s Ribs, ice cream from Clumpies, adorable music by the Premiere Jazz Orchestra, and an ambient atmosphere. The celebration kicks off at 6 pm.

Pops on the River & Fireworks (July, 2024)

Pops on the River is a free outdoor patriotic concert by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO). Located on the North Shore in Coolidge Park, it also features performances from veteran songwriters with Operation Song. The celebration starts at 5 pm, while the fireworks kick off at approximately 9:45 pm.

Collegedale Fireworks | Collegedale Freedom Festival (July, 2024)

Collegedale, 20 miles (32 km) from Chattanooga, invites you to join the fantastic Freedom Festival with live entertainment, fun activities, food trucks, and a fireworks show. Festive events usually start at 4 pm, and fireworks begin at the dust.

Cleveland 4th of July Fireworks (July, 2024)

Join a spectacular fireworks display in Cleveland, which takes place around 9:15 pm at the Perry Stone Ministries offices (TL Lowery Building) near Bradley Square Mall. The best option is to observe the fireworks from the east side of the mall lot. Cleveland is located 37 miles (60 km) from Chattanooga.

Soddy-Daisy 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks (July, 2024)

Soddy-Daisy, located 17 miles (27 km) invites you to visit the annual Independent Day Celebration hosted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Soddy-Daisy Chapter 942. Attendees can try delicious meals at food trucks, visit an impressive car show, or listen to live music. The spectacular fireworks show starts as the sun sets at Soddy Lake Park.
