Rowlett Fireworks on Main 2025 in Dallas, TX

A captivating 4th of July show on Lake Ray Hubbard, 20 miles (32 km) from Downtown Dallas

Dates: July 4

One of the best places to salute the 4th of July in the DFW area is the Fireworks on Main in the City of Rowlett. This free, family-friendly festival takes place in the northeast suburb of Dallas, at Pecan Grove Park on the banks of Lake Ray Hubbard.

Festival Highlights

Although the event's name suggests only fireworks, the diverse program includes live music by three bands, dozens of food vendors, and a kids' area with a corn tournament option. The doors are open to the public from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and live entertainment runs until 9:30 p.m. The evening is capped with a spectacular Independence Day fireworks show.

Parking

Attendees can park their cars at the Highschool Parking lot in front of the Rowlett community Centre. Parking for people with disabilities is in front of Wet Zone. Additional overflow parking is available on PGBT lot at Downtown Rowlett.

Rockwall Fireworks Show

Lake Ray Hubbard boasts another fireworks display during the Independence Day festivities. Rockwall, located just across from Rowlett on the banks of the lake, hosts an annual 4th of July fireworks display at Harry Myers Park. If you find a good spot, maybe you can see both displays in one night! A dazzling extravaganza in Rockwall starts after dusk, at 9:15 pm. The public gathers in the park from 7 pm, enjoying food, music, and various entertainment. Those who want to see a traditional 4th of July parade can come to Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium in Rockwall at 11 am. The colorful parade, dressed in red, white, and blue, walks to Howard Dobbs Elementary.
