One of the most authentic fests in the United States, Addison Oktoberfest is a popular annual event held at Addison Circle Park in Addison, TX. Four days of family-friendly entertainment include local and regional music acts on multiple stages. Visitors can enjoy live German music, traditional Bavarian folk dances, polka, schuhplatten, oompah music, and sing-a-longs.

Addison Oktoberfest Highlights

Addison Oktoberfest is a vibrant annual celebration of German culture, beer, and music. Paulaner Biergarten offers plenty of beverages and traditional bier games such as Bier Maiden Stein Carrying and Bier Barrel Rolling. Attendees can try Oktobersest favorites like German sausage, sauerkraut, strudel, and giant pretzels.

Entertainment includes carnival rides, midway games, interactive games, and attractions, such as the Dachshund Dash. Fun competitions also include a German Idol yodeling and a German spelling bee. Guests can do the chicken dance, prost at the keg tapping, and cheer on competitors in the Masskrugstemmen (stein-hoisting) challenge.

Festival Hours

Addison Oktoberfest attracts thousands of visitors from all over the Southwest. The festival runs from 6pm to 11 pm on Thursday, from 6 pm to midnight on Friday, from noon to midnight on Saturday, and from noon to 5 pm on Sunday.
