Soulard Oktoberfest is the celebration of beer culture in St. Louis. Founded primarily by the Europeans who settled in the city in the 19th century, this beer festival in some way pays tribute to the old German brewing tradition and German heritage.

This Oktoberfest is an annual event held since 2016. It takes place at the Soulard Farmers Market Park—the oldest yet still thriving farmers market in the state, founded back in 1779. The program has entertainment options for any taste: various craft beer stands, a wine garden, authentic German food booths, live music, and merchandise shops.
Admission
Soulard Oktoberfest is a very affordable festival because there is no admission fee. But if you want to go the extra mile, pay an additional $25 and have a premium experience, which includes rare beer kinds, unique steins, access to a special Bier Hall Tent, and other cool perks. Remember that none of these admission options include alcohol, so grab some cash to buy yourself some beer or wine.
