Festival Highlights
Since its inception in 2016, Soulard Oktoberfest has been held annually at the historic Soulard Farmers Market Park, the oldest continually operating farmers market in the state. The festival offers something for everyone, including craft beer stands, a wine garden, authentic German food booths, live music, and merchandise shops.
Music
Over the years, Soulard Oktoberfest has featured many of St. Louis's premier German bands. This year, festival-goers can enjoy the big brass sounds of The Deutschmeister Band, Die Spitzbuam, Brasshaufen Brass Band, The Good Times Band, and Bolzen Beer Band. The diverse music lineup highlights both the German influence and the rich heritage of Soulard.
Schedule
Events at Soulard Farmers Market Plaza are scheduled from 4 pm to 11 pm on Friday, October 11, and 11 am to 10 pm on Saturday, October 12. The Opening Ceremony on October 11 will feature the Bud Light Brigade Parade at 6 pm, followed by the traditional keg tapping at the Plaza Stage. On October 12, visitors can join the Stein Holding Contest at the Beer Hall Tent at 5 pm.

Soulard Oktoberfest is a budget-friendly festival with no admission fee. For an enhanced experience, you can pay an additional $30 for premium access, which includes rare beers, unique steins, entry to a special Bier Hall Tent, and other perks. Note that neither admission option includes alcohol, so be sure to bring cash for your beer or wine purchases.

Soulard Oktoberfest is held at Soulard Market Park, next to the historic Soulard Farmers Market, which has been operating since 1779 and holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously run farmers market west of the Mississippi. As the oldest surviving residential neighborhood in St. Louis, Soulard is an ideal location to celebrate the area's rich cultural heritage. Situated about a mile from the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, Soulard Market Park serves as the heart of the Soulard neighborhood, welcoming both locals and visitors.
