Woosterfest 2024 in Ohio

Woosterfest is a lively annual community event hosted by the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce, typically held in late September or early October. This family-friendly celebration in Downtown Wooster, Ohio, features live music, Kinderplatz, and numerous vendors offering a variety of foods, arts, and crafts.

Festival Highlights

Celebrating its 41st year, Woosterfest draws crowds from across northeast Ohio with its blend of free entertainment, diverse food vendors, an expanding Biergarten and Winegarten, and activities for all ages.

Activities

At Woosterfest, visitors can join in diverse competitions, including sausage toss, Wiener dog race, beer stein race, cornhole tournament, and pig mac eating contest. The festival also features a wide array of arts and crafts vendors offering everything from wood carvings to blankets and toys.

Music

The Main and Side Stages set an incredible atmosphere with live performances by local bands and charismatic solo artists. This year's lineup includes Andi Jo Taylor, Escape The Circus, The Faction, and others on Friday, followed by Rob Samay, Karri Fedor & Kerosene, and more on Saturday.

Dates

This year, Woosterfest is scheduled for Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th. The festivities start at noon and run until 11 pm on Friday, and from 11 am to 11 pm on Saturday.

Tickets

Woosterfest is free to attend, but for those looking to enjoy the festival's wide selection of beers and wines at the popular "Biergarten" and "Weingarten" on South Market Street, tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth located in front of the Biergarten.
