New Year's Eve is a great occasion to explore the club and restaurant scene in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Both cities offer numerous options at the end of the year, from fireworks at Reunion Tower to the countdown at Sundance Square. There's also a spectacular fireworks display and entertainment in Downtown Dallas.

New Year's Eve Fireworks at Reunion Tower

Nothing compares to the Reunion Tower Lone Star event, the only 360-degree fireworks spectacular, which starts one minute before midnight. The pyrotechnic show features over 5,000 special effects, drones, and more than 250 LED displays, all of which create a mesmerizing experience. You can watch the fireworks from the festive City Hall Plaza downtown or from Reunion Tower itself.

Some of the best seats can be found in the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel, located right next to Reunion Tower. The tower features two restaurants, and there is a lawn outside. Tickets are required to watch fireworks from these locations. You can also visit any of the watch parties in the area.

New Year's Eve at Sundance Square

Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth is the place for another large public New Year's Eve celebration in the area. The square usually hosts the countdown, live music, fireworks, food, and drinks, as well as diverse entertainment. Visit any of the exquisite restaurants in the area or stop by the vibrant celebration in the square itself. The countdown party usually spans from 6 pm until 1 am and features live music. street performers, and food vendors.

Royalty NYE Party

Dallas is also known for its large NYE parties. One of the largest parties to farewell the year is Royalty NYE, held at Aloft Hotel Love Field. The chic party features a premium complimentary open bar, dinner, multiple party areas, live bands, and DJ sets. Dress code is black tie, meaning you can celebrate New Year in your best dress or suit. The party spans from 9 am until 2 pm. Tickets start at $100 for admission, open bar and casino access and go up as high as $3,999 for a Champagne Life VIP table.

Dallas New Year's Eve Ball

Dallas NYE Ball is another highly anticipated event in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Held at Southside Ballroom, the Ball features four parties, two floors, and one great night! You can get access to all four parties with a single ticket. The event has been held for 15 years already, with a signature feature of having four separate countdowns and a spectacular view of the Downtown fireworks. Doors open at 8 pm for general admission ticket holders and at 6 pm for premium ticket holders. Tickets cost $50 for general admission and $90 for admission and dinner.

The Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas also hosts a NYE masquerade ball, where you can expect a casino, open bar, champagne, and some special entertainment from 9 pm to 2 am. A regular ticket costs $150, while a ticket with dinner costs $295. Other popular locations to check out for NYE parties include Altitude restaurant on W Dallas Rooftop, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dallas, Billy Bob's Texas, and a rodeo venue in Fort Worth.
