Try over 200 quality craft beers at the annual Kansas City Beer Fest that takes place in Kansas City Power & Light District every September. In addition to hand-picked artisan beers, it offers live music, excellent food and much more. The festival takes place for one day from 3 to 6 p.m.
KC Beer Fest showcases best local breweries, offers rare keg tappings and gourmet food vendors. General admission tickets are $35, and they include unlimited tastings. The VIP option is $60, and it includes early access, a gourmet food buffet, and private bathrooms.
KC Beer Fest has been the major craft brew festival in the Midwest since 2008. Founded by the Kansas City CARE Clinic and the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City, the festival grows every year, attracting about 20,000 attendees.
