Copenhagen Beer Festival (Ølfestival i København) opens the doors to two days full of good beer and socializing with fellow beer lovers and brewers. The exhibitors and music performers await thousands of visitors at Lokomotivværkstedet, a former steam engines repair shop of Danish State Railways.

The festival invites beer enthusiasts to learn about beer production and taste the famous beers alongside new beer labels. Beer tasting heaven promises over 1,000 beer types by more than 70 Danish and foreign producers. Food booths will keep visitors full during the festival. There is an option to pre-order and pay for the food in advance, so there's no need to stand in line: food can be picked up at the selected time slot.

Tickets can be purchased online. The admission includes access to the Lokomotivværkstedet (Locomotive Workshop), a tasting glass, an online exhibitor guide, and ten tastings. Members of Danske Ølentusiaster ("Danish Beer Enthusiasts") get five extra tastings; one can easily join Denmark's largest beer association for an annual fee of 400 kroner.
