The Independence Day celebration in Coppell brings the community together to celebrate the nation's birthday with patriotic spirit and family-friendly entertainment. Party in the Andrew Brown Park East (June 29, 2024)
This huge annual celebration takes place in Andrew Brown Park East. The party kicks off at 6 pm and lasts up until 10 pm. There will be many lawn games, a food area with local vendors, and a concert zone. Visitors will have a chance to enjoy amazing live music.
The event’s administration also usually prepares a magnificent 18-minute fireworks display, which starts at approximately 9:45 pm. A fireworks display is launched across the lake from the event on the east side of the park. Before the pyrotechnic show starts, you can listen to a patriotic national anthem performance. Parking won’t be a problem. The Andrew Brown East will have an accessible parking lot.
Parade Down Parkway (July 4, 2024)
The patriotic 4th-of-July parade is a long-awaited annual event. It starts at 9 am at Samuel Blvd. (or Sandy Lake Rd), goes north to Parkway Blvd., and then travels west all the way to Town Center. Anyone interested in joining the parade is welcome to fill out an application form. There will be many decorated vehicles, floats, and other cool stuff, so embellish your bicycle, car, or yourself! After all, you can always walk in the red, white, and blue parade.
