Greensboro Fun Fourth Fireworks Featured in
Downtown Greensboro Fun Fourth Festival takes pride in being among the best 4th of July events found throughout the Old North State. It starts with a Freedom Run at 7:30 am and continues with family-friendly festivities within Freedom Fest from noon to 6 pm. The main part of the festivities is Greensboro Fireworks, as you might have guessed.
Freedom Run
The Fun Fourth Freedom Run is labeled to be the Triad's longest-running race tradition. It offers two distance options, namely 10K and 5K. If you'd like to participate, we highly recommend registering beforehand as prices typically increase before the event.
Freedom Fest
Freedom Fest promises a fun-packed program that has something for everyone. In addition to live music and vendors, the festival features old-fashioned family games, prizes for the best costumes and wagon decorations, and even a wedding in a patriotic red, white, and blue theme! You can either witness such a unique ceremony, or maybe even get married yourself. But the pinnacle of merrymaking is the firework show, which traditionally takes place at First National Bank Stadium after the Grasshoopers' home game.
