Janesville happily invites you to its annual Independence Day celebration. Held in Traxler Park, it is called Star Spangled Saturday and is organized by The Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team. The patriotic festival involves a bunch of fun activities for any taste, with a fireworks show culmination.
Independence Day Celebration Star Spangled Saturday (June 29, 2024)
All festivities begin at noon, which gives you plenty of time to relax. At the event, there will be many food trucks, beer tents, a live music concert, kids' games, pontoon rides, and a fireworks show. The Rock Aqua will be immediately followed by a spectacular pyrotechnic display. So grab a blanket so that you can sit down on the grass and comfortably enjoy the fireworks. While admission to the festival is free, donations are always welcome.
Nathan Dean (featuring the Angels) Concert (July 4, 2024)
Nathan Dean (featuring the Angels) will entertain the public with favorite songs from the 60s to today, including hits by Queen, George Strait, Fleetwood Mac, Reba McEntire, Johnny Cash, Pat Benatar, Warrant, Bon Jovi, Miranda Lambert, the Eagles, and many more. The concert will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Bodacious Shops of Block 42, Riverside Back Patio.
Two Rivers 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks (July 4, 2024)
For those who can't get enough of celebrating in Janesville, you can go on a trip to the city of Two Rivers (166 miles (267 km) from Janesville), which will pleasantly impress you with its festive atmosphere. The Two Rivers community hosts an Independence Day celebration, which features family activities/games/concessions, a flag-raising ceremony, and a live performance by Clipper City Chordsmen at Walsh Field. The patriotic day ends with a spectacular fireworks display, so don't hesitate to make this trip.
