This street fair has been held since 1921 and is an annual celebration of American culture. Each year, Kenosha County Fair invites over 50,000 guests from around the country.
Kenosha County Fair Highlights
The event involves various things to do, including all sorts of rides, children’s activities, demolition derby, 4-H competitions, merchandise sales, food trucks, music, livestock contests, agricultural competitions, open classes, and many others. You are welcome to bring your little ones along, as there will be activities for any age.
Daily Activities
Throughout the Kenosha County Fair, guests have the opportunity to visit shows that take place daily, such as K9’s in Flight, Milwaukee Flyers, Bear Hollow Wood Carvers, Discovery Barnyard, Strolling Entertainment – The Real Beal’s, Pleasure Valley Pig and Duck Races, Barnyard Adventure Show, Carnival Midway, Nick’s Kid Show, and the Antique Farm Machinery Exhibit.
Kenosha County Fair 2024 Schedule
Guests can try their hand at bobbing for apples at the AG Olympics on August 14 at 6:30 pm, and kids can participate at the Scavenger Hunton on August 15, starting at 10 am. Old tractors parade Antique Tractor Exhibit will also take place on August 15 at 5 pm. On August 15-16, little visitor can test their skills in the Pedal Tractor Pull, and take part in Children’s Parade on August 16. Funny Hay Bale Throwing Contest will start at 6:30 pm on August 16.
Large & Small Animal Sale auctions will run on August 17-18 from 1 pm. Attendees can observe the crowning of The Fairest of the Fair, which will take place on August 17 at 10:30 am. Additionally, fair guests should find time and visit the Pie Auction on August 19 at 7 pm and Cookies and Crowns on August 18, from noon to 1 pm. There will also be events at the Grandstand and Creekside Stage to enjoy during the fair days.
Open Hours
Fairgrounds operate on Wednesday through Saturday from 8 am until 12 am and on Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm.
Admission
Adult tickets (ages 12 and over) for the Kenosha County Fair cost $12 per day. Children's tickets (ages 7-11) are $6, and kids 6 and under have free admission. Senior citizens (ages 65+) and military (active or retired) can visit the fair for $8.
Location and Parking
The event is held at Kenosha County Fairgrounds in Twin Lakes. There will be a designated free parking area on the fair territory and, very importantly, access for handicapped people.
