Big Bang on the Bay Celebration (July 3, 2024)

Big Bang on the Bay kicks off Independence Day celebrations in Long Beach. The vibrant block party with plenty of entertainment is held at Boathouse on the Bay at 190 N. Marina Drive. The party starts at 5 pm and lasts until 9:30 pm. Guests can watch the end of Big Bang on the Bay Sailing Regatta as well as paragliding demonstrations, flight displays, and a Coast Guard Dolphin Search and Rescue performance. During the event, you'll be able to enjoy the performances of local musicians.

The party ends with music curated by DJs and a spectacular pyrotechnic display from the 100-foot Fireworks Barge in the Bay at 9 pm. The spectacle will last approximately 30 minutes and illuminate the canopy above Naples and Alamitos Bay. Tickets for adults cost $100 per person, and tickets for children aged ten and under are priced at $50.

Big Bang on the Bay Fireworks Cruise (July 3, 2024)

To celebrate the 4th of July early, hop onto the cruise liner and observe a magnificent display of fireworks over the Long Beach Harbor. The pyrotechnic show will begin at 9 pm in Alamitos Bay. The location of the docks in downton Long Beach is extremely convenient both for residents and guests of the city. The ship is stationed near Aquarium of the Pacific at the second dock. The ticket for the cruise costs $75. Children under 3 are free to enter with adult supervision.

4th of July Fireworks at Waterfront (July 4, 2024)

Annually sponsored by the administration of Long Beach, the ​​fireworks at the Long Beach Waterfront will create memories for a lifetime. The best places to view the show are Marina Green, Lions Lighthouse for Sight, Rainbow Harbor, Shoreline Village, and the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center parking lot. The fireworks display begins at 9 pm from Queensway Bay, but you can arrive early and check out various shops and restaurants.

July 4th Fireworks Cruise (July 4, 2024)

The annual 4th of July fireworks cruise is held by Harbor Breeze Cruises and features four different cruise ships you have a chance to hop onto, including Kristina, Caroline, La Espada and Triumphant. Celebrate Independence Day with a bang by witnessing a magnificent fireworks display and enjoying the calming breeze of Long Beach Waters. The departure times for the cruises are 7:30 pm, 7:45 pm and 8 pm. Admission ranges from $50 to $75, while children under three years old have free admission.

Los Alamitos & Seal Beach Firework Spectacular (July 3, 2024)

Every year, Los Alamitos and Seal Beach, located to the south of Long Beach, collaboratively host a 4th of July firework show centered around celebrating those serving the United States in the military. The event takes place at Joint Forces Training Base. The gates open at 4 pm and close at 8:45 pm, with the pyrotechnics show starting at 9 pm. The visitors can enjoy traditional family-friendly games, all kinds of crafts and foods from vendors, and live music.
