Morgan Hill's Family Music Fest (July 3, 2024)

To join in on the never-ending cycle of fun that is Family Music Fest, swing by Downtown Morgan Hill. The Monterey Road between Dunne Street and Main Street will be bursting with crowds that come to enjoy live music and delicious food from the stands. This outdoor bash includes a child-friendly zone with chalk art, inflatables, and lawn games.

Patriotic Sing (July 3, 2024)

The tradition, with a history spanning more than three decades, is as popular as ever. Patriotic Sing serves as a tribute to the fallen soldiers and an opportunity for the children to learn the fundamental patriotic compositions. The show is normally performed by kids at the Morgan Hill Amphitheater at 5 pm. The singers also participate in the parade and sing during the fireworks display.

Freedom Run (July 4, 2024)

Starting your 4th of July early in a community of like-minded people is one of the best ways to celebrate Independence. The Freedom Run consists of a 5K Run and Walk and a One-Mile Run for Kids. The starting point is located on the corner of Peak and Dunne, while the endpoint is at Peak Avenue. During the marathon, you'll have a chance to take in the verdant landscape of Downtown Morgan Hill. The 5K Race begins at 8:15 am, and the One-Mile Run starts at 7:45 am. Both end at 11:30 am. The tickets to participate cost $45 for the 5K Run and $25 for the children's race.

Morgan Hill 4th of July Parade (July 4, 2024)

The celebration starts gaining momentum with its 4th of July parade. Dozens of patriotic floats, a marching band with hundreds of musicians, equestrian organizations, and creative participants will all proudly strut through Downtown. A Car Cruise Show is also part of the spectacle, with hundreds of unique vehicles cruising through the streets of the city.

The parade kicks off at 10 am on Main Street, Peak Avenue, Dunne Avenue and Monterey Street. The national anthem performance and float announcements will accompany the procession.

Morgan Hill Fireworks on the Green (July 4, 2024)

The evening fireworks display is always the pinnacle of merrymaking on the 4th of July. Morgan Hill Fireworks on the Green is known as Northern California's largest land-based pyrotechnic extravaganza. Don't miss out on the chance to witness the spectacle, which begins at 9:30 pm at the Outdoor Sports Center (OSC). Prior to the show, the venue will be open from 3 pm to welcome its visitors for live music, a pie-eating contest, and all kinds of fun. Some of the performers include The Wise Girls and The Hitmen.
