Orlando is always sparkling with fireworks, but during the 4th of July weekend, it's booming with activities! Disney World, Legoland, and SeaWorld hold special events on July 3rd and 4th while the city's residents gather at local parks and entertainment spots.

Lake Nona Great American Block Party (June 29, 2024)

Each year, the residents and visitors of Lake Nona gather at Lake Nona Town Center to commemorate American Independence. The event is full of family-friendly activities, from face painting to stilt-walking performances and thrilling carnival games. Indulge in delicious Western-style BBQ while listening to the best of American music. If you're feeling competitive, take part in the pie-baking or wing-eating contest. The festivities span from 3 until 11 pm. Admission is completely free.

Walt Disney World Resort 4th of July Events (July 3-4, 2024)

Independence Day at Walt Disney World Resort is annually accompanied by A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at the Magic Kingdom. The skies over the theme park light up with sparkling patriotic fireworks on July 3rd and 4th, which gives you a chance to take in the sights with fewer crowds. And the celebration doesn't stop there—coupled with themed foods and dance bashes all over the Magic Kingdom, you have a lot to look forward to!

Another way to commemorate Independence at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park is by visiting The Hall of Presidents, a 25-minute show all about the foundation of the United States, its leaders, and the struggles along the way. Equipped with 45 audio-animatronic figures, the spectacle is played out several times throughout the day and will evoke patriotism and loyalty to the US just after the first watch.

The EPCOT center will welcome its visitors with The American Adventure, an educational and patriotic production that encapsulates the fascinating history of the United States and its key events. While the show is open all year, it definitely fits the theme of the 4th of July celebration the best. The culmination of the night at EPCOT will be its annual fireworks show. To experience all of this, consider grabbing a ticket, the cost of which starts at $89 per day.

On July 3rd and 4th, Anima Kingdom operates from 9 am to 6 pm, while Hollywood Studios is open from 9 am to 9 pm. EPCOT and Magic Kingdom both open their doors at 9 am but close at 9 pm and 10 pm, respectively.

One of the biggest 4th of July celebrations in the Orlando area has been happening for almost three decades and shows no signs of stopping. You can try out special foods and beverages while enjoying the live performances of local artists. The cherry on top is the fireworks spectacle, known as one of the biggest ones in Orlando. The event takes place at Cranes Roost Park in Uptown Altamonte and runs from 4 pm to 11 pm. And the best part is that admission to the park is completely free.

SeaWorld Orlando Fireworks Show (July 4, 2024)

SeaWorld Orlando offers a pyrotechnic spectacular on the central lake, synchronized with patriotic music. One of the best viewing spots for the show is the Bayside Stadium, which opens 30 minutes before the spectacle. You can also find a spot near the water and enjoy the fireworks from there. The event is included in regular park admission, the price of which starts at $109.

Legoland Red, White & BOOM! Firework Show (July 4, 2024)

Legoland Florida Resort goes all out for this year's 4th of July with its jaw-dropping fireworks display. Throughout the day you'll be able to enjoy the park's numerous rides and attractions, such as Battle of Bricksburg, Lost Kingdom Adventure, Lego Ninjago World and more.

As the evening approaches, dance the night away at a party, hosted by exclusive DJs, and indulge in special snacks. The most anticipated part of the event is the Bricktastic Fourth of July fireworks show, which will turn into bricks right before your eyes, thanks to 3D glasses provided at the event. The tickets start at $84, and the park is open from 10 am to 9 pm.
