Cape Coral is a lovely and friendly community near Fort Myers. It boasts all the beauty that you can expect from Southwest Florida. With plenty of parks, nature preserves, golf courses, and tennis courts, this city celebrates the 4th of July with a bang.
Red White and Boom (July 4, 2024)
Organized by the City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department, Red White and Boom is a huge (and the main) street party at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge. The free celebration takes place from 5 to 10 pm and features performances from the big stage, lots of food, kids' activities, and a bright fireworks display from the middle of the bridge. The 2024 Entertainment Schedule contains live music, which will ignite the audience and give extraordinary emotions; stage entertainment includes national country acts. All live music shows are appropriate for every age.
Guests can also join Freedom 5K & Kid's Fun Run, starting on July 4 at 7 am at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge. As a reminder, the bridge will be closed from 3 am on July 4 until 3 am on July 5.
Cape Coral Fireworks
The main event of the day, which is the fireworks, starts at 9:30 pm, and the sky lits up by a kaleidoscope of bright colors. The organizers also offer VIP tickets with a prime viewing spot near the stage. The Boom Zone Adult Ticket (ages 21+) costs $40, and the Kid Ticket (ages 2-20)—$20. Children under 5 years old have a free entrance.
