The Maritime Research Centre located at Lyndby Strand in Lejre Vig offers visitors Viking ship sailing adventures on Roskilde Fjord. While being in the ship, you get to row and sail while admiring the scenic view of the fjord, observing nature and listening to Viking tales.
The ships in the Research Center are different sized, from Freja for 8 oars to Aslak with 38, the largest one. But most of them can moor at the beaches of the fjord so you can make stops and discover some hidden gems, swim or sunbathe.
