Big Red Bash 2024 in Australia
Visit the world's most remote music festival at the Big Red desert dune
Dates: July 2-4, 2024
Every July Big Red Bash music festival takes place in the heart of Australia’s outback near the town of Birdsville. The three-day Queensland festival draws about 6000 people to a picturesque location on the edge of the Simpson Desert. Imagine yourself on the 40-m Big Red Dune light up by the moon listening to some serious rock.
The red sands of the Simpson Desert have been inspiring Australia’s most iconic rock bands. About 16 great Australian musicians and bands will play over three days and nights. The lineup included Midnight Oil, The Living End, Kasey Chambers, Busby Marou, Richard Clapton and more.
Big Red Bash is held on an organic cattle station, and camping is complimentary. Three nights under the stars off the beaten track with Aussie legends rocking the desert are definitely going to be memorable.
