Spring months of September and October, as well as fall months of April and May, are the best time to visit Victoria. Spring is an excellent period to enjoy hiking and blooming flowers: cherry blossoms, tulips, rhododendrons, and roses. The weather is mild and perfect for wildlife and bird watching. November—March is the warmest period, which suits perfectly for relaxing on the beach. December—February is the most popular time to visit, with the most expensive accommodation. In April and May, prices go down, but it’s still warm enough for surfing, hiking, attending an outdoor music festival, or hunting an elusive aurora australis.
