Oz Comic Con Melbourne is one of the top pop culture and cosplay events in Australia, which is held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in early June. The popular convention showcases comics, video games, anime, as well as all the latest studio activations. Oz Comic Con has been running in four Australian cities — Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide — since 2012 as a local franchise of the New York Comic-Con.

The annual Oz Comic Con Melbourne features dozens of artists and celebrities, who take part in autograph sessions, photo opportunities, meet-and-greet, panel discussions, and workshops. In addition, multiple vendors offer comics, photographs, original art, toys, clothing, and various collectibles.
Oz Comic Con Melbourne also features artist valley, Community & Workshop Stage Panels, Anime, Gaming & Trivia Stage, Music & Entertainment Stage, Comics Lounge, and much more location and events for fans of geek culture.

Thousands of fans are looking forward to taking part in the annual Cosplay Parade and Cosplay Active, Oz Comic Con's competition for mainstream competitors. Participants are encouraged to showcase their crafting talents or perform a skit to impress the public with their performance. Solo and group applications are available for everyone looking forward to participating in Cosplay Active.
Australian Championship of Cosplay
Oz Comic-Con Australian Championships of Cosplay is Australia's largest cosplay competition and held at each Oz Comic-Con event in 2024 (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Sydney). All participations must represent a character or element from pop culture featuring movies, television, comic books, anime & manga, video games, and fantasy.

Oz Comic-Con ticket options cater to all types of pop culture enthusiasts. The Early Bird General Admission Price for a single day is $45, and the Early Bird General Admission Price for a weekend pass is $67.50. The Early Bird Child Day Pass (ages 5-12) costs $25, and the Early Bird Weekend Pass for a child costs $35. A Family Pass is available for $105 and $160.
