    Activities

Visitors can participate in cosplay competitions or gaming tournaments at the Alabama Comic Convention. The Kids Masquerade category is for entrants ten and under who love dressing up as their favorite characters. Cosplay can be store-bought or handmade, but all entrants must be accompanied by an adult at sign-up and during the contest. The Adult Masquerade is open to all cosplayers, regardless of how their cosplay was made. This category is less intense than Craftsmanship and offers a great introduction to competitive cosplay. The Craftsmanship category is for cosplayers who create their costumes from scratch and want to model them on stage for a chance to win. Each category is limited to 30 contestants.
