Linc-Con is an annual comic convention held at The Engine Shed on the Lincoln University Campus in Lincolnshire, England. Held every October, Lincoln Comic Con is focused on superheroes as well as comics, fantasy, sci-fi, gaming, and anime. The event, which embraces all things popular culture, offers plenty of family-friendly attractions and stage acts.
Past highlights of Linc-Con include a Jedi Lightsabre Academy, Escape games, Green Screen, and live game shows, such as the popular Mario Kart Tournament. Free gaming zone features VR Gaming and Retro Consoles.
The exhibition hall features dozens of vendors, offering comic books, superheroes costumes, magazines, toys, apparel and more. Props and Sets will attracts numerous fans of Star Wars, Marvel and Harry Potter universes. Panels and workshops provide a chance to meet celebrity guests. Cosplay Competition is a great way to experience the Linc-Con and showcase creativity. Cosplayers' efforts will be rewarded by a select panel of Cosplay Judges. Linc-Con runs from 10:30 am to 5 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door. For VIP guests the doors open at 10 am.
