Motor City Comic Con is a popular culture convention held in Novi, near Detroit. The three-day event, which takes place in May, is dedicated to comic books, film, television, anime, fantasy, sci-fi, and video gaming. The Motor City Comic Con, which usually attracts about 50,000 attendees, was founded in 1989 by Michael Goldman.
The Motor City Comic Con attracts over 250 celebrities, including about 40 actors, as well as wrestlers, graphic artists, authors, and directors. The main highlights of the Motor City Comic Con include panel discussions, seminars, workshops, film screenings, portfolio review sessions, as well as costume contests. The exhibition floor features dozens of exhibitors, such as media companies, movie studios, TV networks, comic-book dealers, and vendors. The Artists' Alley is an exciting zone where fans can get autographs and sketches from their favorite artists. Motor City Comic Con runs from 12 to 7 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
