Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) is a three-day convention dedicated to pop culture, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. It attracts about 95,000 fans of comics, anime, video games, and cinema. The first C2E2 event was held in 2010, starting with a special auction offering props from "Iron Man."
One of the main attractions of the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo is the opportunity to meet professional and amateur comic book artists, authors, actors, directors, and other celebrities. The list of C2E2 guests included Stan Lee, Chloe Bennet, John Cusack, Millie Bobby Brown, J. August Richards, Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Ryan Hurst, Tommy Flanagan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Austin St. John, Edwards James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Rose McGowan, John Ratzenberger, Hynden Walch, Jeremy Shada, Kelynan Lonsdale, Finn Wolfhard, Walter Jones, David Yost, Steve Blum, Jennifer Hale, Andy Price, Humberto Ramos, and Sara Richard.
More fun awaits attendees on the Show Floor where dozens of exhibitors offer collectibles, comics, toys, clothes, and various merchandise. In addition, fans can attend autograph sessions, panel discussions, and screening rooms. C2E2 is also known for its After Dark events and massive after-hours parties.
C2E2 Cosplay Celebration is another highlight which features hundreds of fans. The Crown Championships of Cosplay and other competitions showcase the most well-crafted costumes and the best artistic presentations.
