Events & Activities

The convention's biggest highlights include "Artist Valley," a space for all kinds of creators, and a giant Show Floor where dozens of vendors offer books, toys, and various collectibles. Comic Book Corral (CBC) and 8-Bit Lounge offer thousands of students the opportunity to meet artists and get hands-on experience with professional animation. The show hours are from 10 am to 7 pm daily.

Fan Expo Denver offers a range of attractions for cosplay enthusiasts, including the Cosplay HQ with the Red Carpet and Photo Park, meetups with cosplay guests, a cosplay replica contest, a quiet Cosplay Hideaway, and panels and workshops for cosplay how-tos. For Fan Expo Denver, single-day tickets start at $24, while a four-day pass ranges from $99 to $109. The ultimate fun package is available for around $-139-149. Tickets start at $19 for youth aged 13-17. Children aged 6-12 can attend for $12. Family packages are available ranging from $49 to $130.

History of Convention

The first Denver Comic Con was held in June 2012 with 27,700 participants. The attendance more than tripled in just three years. In March 2021, it was renamed to "Fan Expo Denver". In the past, Denver Comic Con has been visited by such stars as Millie Bobby Brown, Jason Momoa, Nathan Fillion, William Shatner, John Cusack, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, David Tennant, Dave Bautista, Zachary Levi, George Takei, Val Kilmer, Matthew Lewis, Dan Fogler, Clifford Chapin, Summer Glau, Jerome Flynn, Christopher Lloyd, Justin Briner, Colleen Clinkenbeard, Justin Cook, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, and many others.
