St. Patrick's Day 2025 in Denver

Denver embraces the spirit of St. Patrick's Day with vibrant celebrations that light up the city each March. From the iconic Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade, one of the largest in the region, to lively pub crawls and traditional Irish music performances, the city offers something for everyone.

Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade (March 15, 2025)

This annual event, presented by Bellco Credit Union, is Denver's premier Irish celebration. Drawing nearly half a million attendees, it stands as one of the city's most cherished and long-standing traditions, featuring vibrant floats, energetic dancers, live bands, local charities, and beloved personalities.

Denver's St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 9 am, starting from Coors Field's Parking Lot and heading onto Wynkoop Street. Arrive early to stake out the most convenient vantage points. The Parade proceeds down 19th Street to 17th Street, turning left onto Blake Street, and concludes at 27th and Blake.

Denver's Parade dates back to 1889, starting with a Grand Ball hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians at the Denver Chamber of Commerce, lit entirely by gas lamps. The Parade, led by Grand Marshal Frank McGuire, began the next morning at 9:15 and featured divisions of Irish groups, concluding in time for high Mass at St. Elizabeth's Church.

Beyond St. Patrick's Day Parade, Denver residents love to engage in sports on this holiday. You can join locals in the annual jogging races, known as Denver's Classic Irish Jog, which mark the beginning of the running season. Whether you opt for a Lucky 7-mile (11 km) route or a simpler 2-mile (3 km) Leprechaun Leap, do not doubt that the views of Denver's gorgeous downtown will inspire you for days to come.

Everyone can enjoy plenty of good beer, live music, and Irish dancing performances. Participants come together for the race at Washington Park early in the morning. Registration is scheduled to start at 8:30 am, whereas the runs begin at about 10 am. Irish Post Event Celebration continues onwards through 12:30 pm.

Denver St Patrick's Day Bar Crawl (March 15, 2025)

Denver’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl brings together some of the city’s most lively venues for a celebration filled with Irish spirit. Participants receive a pub crawl kit, which includes six hours of access to various bars, $10 to use during the event, food and drink specials, and a mystery gift. The day features a festive mix of Irish jigs, live music, DJs, and a scavenger hunt for prizes, offering a vibrant atmosphere to mark the occasion.
