Everyone is welcome to experience this stunning 110-foot-tall immersive art installation, which will be set up on the Great Lawn in Civic Center Park. As the largest installation of its kind in North America, the Mile High Tree promises to be a highlight of the festivities. Join in the NYE celebration with special ball drop-style countdowns at 9 pm and midnight. The Mile High Tree will be open daily from November 22 to December 31, from 5 pm to 10 pm, and admission is free.

Denver's New Year's Eve Fireworks

Denver's 16th Street Mall New Year celebration, featuring spectacular fireworks, is a major attraction that typically draws lively crowds of around 100,000 attendees. Traditionally, the City of Denver will host two dazzling fireworks displays. The first show will kick off at 9 pm, followed by a second show at midnight. Arrive early to enjoy the 9 o'clock fireworks, then dance to live DJs until the countdown to the New Year, when the sky will light up once more. Both firework displays are free to attend and will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, as the festival celebrates nearly 20 years of tradition.
