Featuring lively marching bands, colorful floats, Irish dancers, and spirited community groups, it's a true celebration of Irish heritage and culture.

The Manchester St. Patrick's Day Parade stands out because it takes place in late March, over a week after the official holiday. Organizers explain tthat his timing helps the event avoid competing with the many celebrations held nationwide on March 17.

Route

The Manchester St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at the north end of Elm Street, with marching units assembling between Webster Street and Salmon Street. The show officially starts at noon, but a shuttle service is available as early as 10 a.m. to help attendees get to the event. The parade winds its way down Elm Street and concludes at Central Street, creating a lively spectacle for all to enjoy.

Lineup

The Grand Marshal, an honored individual of Irish heritage and Catholic faith who has made significant contributions to the Manchester community, leads the parade. The procession is divided into three sections: Division Blue, Division White, and Division Gold. Each section brings its flair with vibrant performances, floats, and marching groups celebrating Irish culture.

Pubs & Bars

When the street party is over, you can continue merrymaking in dozens of local pubs and bars, offering varied flavors and gallons of Guinness. There's no need to roam far to find a place, as some of the best gathering points in Manchester are situated on the same Elm Street, say Murphy's Taproom or The Pint Public House. Also, you may want to check out Firefly American Bistro & Bar on Concord Street. So dress up in green, let your hair down, and have fun.

Parking & Bus Shuttles

Parking is unavailable near the parade assembly area. Participants should park at the Pine Street Lot or Victory Parking Garage near the parade's endpoint and use the shuttle from Central and Chestnut Streets (10 a.m. to noon) to reach the assembly area. Due to street closures and traffic disruptions, avoid drop-offs near 1750 Elm Street. Plan to arrive on time for your division.
