Lineup
This year's various and jam-packed lineup offers something for everyone, featuring Bob Log III, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Fools, Grace Cummings, Jack Botts, Kasey Chambers, Marlon Williams, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Queenie, Rob Edwards, The Bures Band, The Meltdown, The Stamps, The Wiggles Sound System ft DJ Dorothy (kids program), and Xavier Rudd.
Tickets
Children aged 1 to 13 require a ticket and must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Children under 12 months do not need a ticket and enter for free. Youths aged 14 to 17 must purchase an Accompanied Youth Ticket, which can only be bought alongside an adult ticket.
A 3-Day Adult Ticket, providing entry for all three days, costs $299. A 3-Day Youth Ticket (ages 14-17) is priced at $149 and can only be purchased with a 3-Day Adult Ticket. A 3-Day Child Ticket (ages 1-13) is available for $29. Single-day passes are also available: Friday tickets for adults are $109, Saturday tickets are $139, and Sunday tickets are $119.
Schedule
The Festival is traditionally held on the last weekend of November each year. The 26th Queenscliff Music Festival will take place in 2024 on the final full weekend of the month. The schedule is as follows: Friday, November 22nd, from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm; Saturday, November 23rd, from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm; and Sunday, November 24th, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Location & Parking
The Festival takes place in Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. The main festival precinct is situated in Princess and Lower Princess Parks, with additional events hosted at various venues throughout the charming and historic township. There are no designated parking areas for the Festival. Still, Queenscliff is a small town where street parking is typically available within a short walk of the festival site, though some spots may have restrictions.
Rules & Restrictions
The Festival features several licensed bars for your enjoyment. Weapons, including pocket knives, fireworks, laser lights, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited throughout the event. Pets are not allowed at the Festival. Alcohol cannot be brought into the Festival, bags will be checked by security at the entrance. Only sealed or empty plastic drink bottles are permitted on site.
History of the Festival
Founded in 1997 by a dedicated group of locals, the Queenscliff Music Festival aimed to boost tourism and highlight Queenscliff's unique charm. Since its inception, the Festival has expanded to include a dedicated team of paid staff and over 400 volunteers. Each year, on the last weekend in November, this vibrant team hosts a three-day celebration of music and culture. The Festival attracts more than 10,000 attendees annually, who come together to enjoy a diverse lineup of contemporary music.
