Open Air Gampel is an annual summer music festival that takes place during the third weekend of August in Gampel-Bratsch, Switzerland. Multi-stage mountain location features rock, alternative and hip-hop music acts. The biggest open-air festival in Switzerland draws about 120,000 attendees every year.
The festival was founded in the mid-80s as a small rock event but has evolved into one of the most awaited music gatherings in the country. The beautiful setting in the Valais valley is what makes this event so unique. Some call it the most beautiful music festival in Europe. OpenAir Gampel lineups have included Skinny Lister, Yungblud, Turbobier, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Macklemore as well as countless newly discovered bands.
